Today, I interview one of my biggest mentors, Elena Brower. I ask her about the tension many of us feel as yoga teachers: How do we honor our own personal practice (which may be morphing away from the style of yoga we’re known for), while still meeting our students’ where they are? How do we not feel pigeon-holed by a certain technique or style? And trust our own voice? Listen in as we discuss:
🔹 How Elena’s teaching reached me in the most unexpected of places, changing the trajectory of my life and career
🔹 Where yoga and buddhism differ, overlap and compliment one another
🔹Workaholism and how to craft your time to honor your own needs
We also discuss our favorite books, and ways to open up space for creativity in your life. Thank you, Elena, for your energy in this conversation.
