You are so beautiful and smart, I hope you deeply appreciate your amazing self! If not, that’s very normal, and guess what!
Self esteem daily affirmations will turn your self-appreciation to the MAX! Here’s how to practice them in your life.
Self-Esteem And Positive Thoughts
Your self-esteem is your opinion of yourself. Ideally, it is positive. If loud negative self-talk gets in your way, your opinion is built on negative beliefs causing low self-esteem.
Even people who have great self-esteem, have blue days. Everyone knows what self-doubt feels like, it happens to everyone. It becomes a problem when the negative thoughts become dominant and run wild through your subconscious mind.
Long-term low self-confidence will create brain wiring that will reinforce further negative thoughts. To learn more about this brain development check out this lesson in the Uplifted 200-hr training.
Alison Ledgerwood says the biggest takeaway from her research is “we have to put effort into looking at the bright side” due to our brain’s natural negative thought patterns. Positive self-confidence and self-esteem are not natural in the human mind.
If you feel overwhelmed by your insecurity, start with this meditation. This will set you up for success as you turn your self-doubts into self-love.
Keeping your thoughts positive will create more positive neural pathways leading to a more positive mindset. You deserve love from yourself! If it is not naturally occurring, I recommend daily affirmations for confidence. It’s easy, I’ll show you.
What Is An Affirmation?
Affirmations are positive statements that are repeated regularly to rewire your mindset. The belief is you can gradually reshape your subconscious mind to overcome negative thoughts. Self-affirmations are proven to activate the reward and valuation areas of the brain. Affirmations work!
How to Write Your Own Self Esteem Daily Affirmations
Positive affirmations for confidence put you in full control of your inner dialogue. Everyone will have a different area they want to improve. Here are a few steps to making personal affirmations to make your life better:
What’s Your Goal?
The best positive affirmations are the ones that are specific to your desired outcome. The more specific your goal the better your affirmations for confidence will be.
My favorite affirmations for confidence remind me of my good qualities. Everyone deserves happiness including you.
Use Present Tense
The affirmations you choose to use must be in the present tense. You are trying to outsmart your brain and reroute your negative self-talk into self-love by already “believing” it.
Keep It Positive And Personal
Steer clear of negative words. The goal is to reinforce positive thoughts. To achieve the goal you use positive words. To make sure the words resonate, use “I” to start your affirmation. Some general positive statements to get your started could be:
- I have
- I can
- I feel
- I trust
- I deserve
REPEAT, Repeat, Repeat
Write your positive affirmation somewhere where you will see it often. Could you make a note on your mirror? What about a sticky note on the front door or fridge? Say your affirmations proudly often. Practice affirmations in the morning or before bed. Have some affirmations ready to go to combat that inner dialogue when negative thoughts inevitably creep up too.

Tips For Practicing Daily Affirmations
To really maximize your practice, follow these few tips.
Proudly & Often
The more often and with more enthusiasm you can repeat your affirmations the quicker you will see the results. The neural pathways will “groove deeper” with each repetition.
Donald Hebb published 1949 The Organization of Behavior: A Neuropsychological Theory explaining his theory that “neural pathways are developed based on experiences”.
Affirmations for self-esteem are how you generate the experience of self-confidence. The more your neural pathways experience confidence and self-esteem the more the pathway develops. Well-developed neural pathways become more automatic through repetition. Say your affirmations for confidence as often as you can remember to build them into your brain.
When affirmations are spoken aloud you can hear your voice feeling confident. The more you can commit to your powerful self-love affirmations the more your self-worth will increase.
Start believing
To become a better version of yourself use positive affirmations to boost your self-worth. You must leave behind the limiting beliefs causing you to feel insecure and start believing your chosen positive affirmations for confidence. You want to use the powerful tool of affirmations so that positive self-talk becomes second nature.
If your stress levels are high, start with a deep breath and exhale fear. Affirmations work to boost your inner self. Don’t let poor mental health stand in your way of practicing confidence affirmations.
Closing Thoughts
I hope you are feeling inspired to incorporate powerful affirmations into your daily routine. Your confidence and self-worth can truly be lifted by reminding yourself daily what a wonderful person you are!
