You’ve probably heard of divine feminine energy
But what is divine love?
That’s a question that people have been trying to answer since ancient times.
From the original yogis of centuries ago to seekers of the present, so many of us want to tap into this unconditional love within the universe.
Some might refer to it as God’s love , as kindness, or even, blessings from manifestation.
No matter what your personal beliefs are in divinity, divine love is ultimately about connection—to yourself, to to your spirit and your spiritual gifts, and to each human in your life, along with a greater connection with the divine.
You’ve probably already been able to experience divine love throughout your existence. So, let’s explore what divine love is and how such love is connected with beauty, joy, faith, and nature.
What Is Divine Love?
Divine love is a boundless, unconditional energy that flows from a higher source of divinity, connecting all living beings and the universe itself. Some people call this God, the Divine, the Christ, the Light, Holy Spirit, Creation, Father God, Divine Mother, Mother Nature, or Jesus Christ.
No matter what your beliefs are, or what form the divine takes for you, each form share similar values, wisdom, and all comes from the same source. Each person has access to the power of the divine and to walk a spiritual path filled with love.
This love, often considered a God like presence, transcends human limitations, offering a profound sense of compassion, desire, unity, and purpose in life for each person. Often described as the ultimate form of love and happiness, it is not bound by personal desire or expectations but is freely given and received.
In essence, this type of love is a walking a path of abundance, where there is more than enough for every person—for yourself, your parents, your family, your children, your friends, and every person in the world. You may recognize this wisdom from the great thinkers of the ages, from Jesus to the Buddha to the sages of yoga.
Love is the heart of spiritual practice—a sacred salvation that nourishes your soul and reminds you of your innate worthiness and all you deserve.
It’s not just an abstract concept but a living force you can cultivate in your yoga practice, relationship, and with your words.
Love invites you to embrace your highest self – your inner mother and father – and see the light in others, while living in harmony with the desire, beauty, joy, and peace that surround your life.
Divine Love: The Ocean and a Drop in the Ocean
In ancient yogic wisdom, divine love is deeply tied to the concepts of Brahman and Atman.
In yogic philosophy, Brahman is the ultimate reality—the infinite, god, unchanging source of all life—picture it as the ocean.
Atman, on the other hand, is the individual soul, the self, the light, the god within, the essence of who you truly are. Think of atman as a drop of water.
Although the two may appear to be opposite, they are not. If Brahman is the ocean – the universal conciousness and blueprint for everything in the world and beyond – then atman is our unique self—the way we talk, our words, our blessings, our soul, what we fear, and how we act. We are one drop in the ocean—and we are also part of the ocean.
In order to understand love, you must understand that you were created as a part of a deep and everlasting, expansive, divine energy. When you realize that your Atman (your drop) is a reflection of Brahman (the ocean), you begin to see that love is not something external to you but an intrinsic part of your being. And it’s not just within you—it’s in your children, your friends, your relationship, and your beautiful home. Everything is spiritual and the divine can take many a form. You can experience divine love anytime.
Fear can start to melt away when you begin thinking this world of blessings and discover the divinity within and around you.
This realization helps dissolve the illusion of separateness and opens the door to experiencing love as an ever-present truth.
The answers you seek and the love you deserve are already deep within. You are not defined by outer labels, but by the heaven within. You were made as part of the divine and so are all children and adults.

Yoga and Spiritual Love
In practical terms, yoga invites you to experience this god, divine, twin flame union through practices that quiet the mind and awaken your awareness.
Whether it’s holding a posture with grace, chanting a mantra, or sitting in meditation, each moment reminds you that the same divine energy flows within you and around you.
Love, in this sense, is the feeling of unity that arises when you align with this truth—when the veil of ego fades, and you glimpse the process of oneness between Brahman and Atman.
By going deep to pursue love through the lens of Brahman and Atman, you are not only connecting to a higher power / God, but also deepening your connection to yourself and others.
You see life through a deep lens of unity and compassion, recognizing that every being carries a spark of the divine. This perspective brings a process of profound peace and joy, allowing you to move through life and act with faith and gratitude for the form and beauty of existence.
And the best part? It doesn’t take much effort. All you need is a willingness to be open to the qualities.

How To Experience Sacred Love Today
Experiencing love doesn’t require a grand spiritual awakening—it’s something you can cultivate daily through intentional actions and practices.
By creating space for stillness, calmness, and gratitude, you open yourself to the boundless energy of divine love that flows within and around you.
Here are some powerful ways to invite divine love into your life today, with habits you can easily incorporate into your routine.
Practice Daily Meditation
Set aside even five minutes each morning or evening to sit in stillness. Focus on your breath and visualize a warm, loving light surrounding you, filling your heart with divine energy. With consistency, meditation becomes a sacred space to connect with yourself and the universe – or whatever word works best for you – Christ, the Source, etc.
Offer Loving-Kindness to Others
Make it a habit to consciously practice loving-kindness (metta) each day. Take a minute to send warm thoughts or prayers to loved ones, acquaintances, or even strangers. This intentional act cultivates compassion and fosters a sense of unity with all beings.
Embrace Gratitude Journaling
Every evening, write down three things you’re grateful for that day. Gratitude is a doorway to experiencing love, as it shifts your perspective to see the blessings in your life, even during challenges.
Move Your Body With Intention
Whether it’s yoga, walking in nature, or dancing to your favorite music, mindful movement allows you to connect deeply with your body and spirit.
As you move, focus on the sensations and energy flowing through you, reminding yourself that your body is a vessel of love.
Create Sacred Rituals
Infuse your daily routine with small rituals that center you. Light a candle before meals, say a prayer of thanks, or dedicate a few minutes to journaling affirmations.
These rituals anchor your awareness in the present and invite divine energy into your day.
Connect With Nature
Spend time outside, whether it’s walking barefoot on the grass, sitting by the ocean, or simply gazing at the stars. Nature is a profound teacher of divine love, showing us how everything is interconnected and abundant.
Practice Forgiveness
Make forgiveness a daily habit, starting with yourself. Let go of grudges and self-criticism, and replace them with compassion. Forgiveness allows you to release the blocks that prevent divine love from flowing freely through your life.
Cultivate Times of Joy
Prioritize activities that bring you genuine happiness—reading, cooking, laughing with friends, or creating art. This aligns you with divine energy, reminding you that love is not just serious but also fun and playful.
By incorporating these practices into your daily life, you create a steady rhythm of connection, compassion, and gratitude.
Divine love isn’t a distant ideal; it’s an ever-present force waiting to be embraced through your thoughts, actions, and intentions.
Closing Thoughts
This sacred love isn’t something you search for—it’s already within you, waiting to be nurtured and expressed.
By embracing simple daily practices like meditation, gratitude, and connection, you open yourself to the infinite energy of love that flows through all of existence.
Remember, this love thrives in small, intentional moments of stillness, joy, and compassion.
As you integrate these habits, you’ll begin to feel more aligned with your higher self and deeply connected to the world around you. Allow sacred love to guide you, and watch as it transforms your life in profound and beautiful ways.
