Getting Paid

Please make sure you have entered your Paypal address with which to receive your payments here. If you have a US bank account, we can now pay you via Direct Deposit. No paypal fees – YAY! Email you acct # and routing # to support@brettlarkin.com and we’ll set up your direct deposit. Please also send your W9 for tax purposes.

We have 3 Types of affiliates (Type 1, Type 2, Type 3). The type of affiliate you are and your referral rates should have been sent to you upon sign up. If not, email support@brettlarkin.com for help.

Pay Out Tracking & Rules

Affiliate links and coupon codes are NOT allowed in any of the Facebook groups or pages that are run by Uplifted Yoga Inc. That includes:

  • The Yoga Hackers Group
  • The Uplifted Group
  • Beginner Yoga Jumpstart

Affiliate payment is NOT counted for someone who was already on Uplifted Yoga Inc’s email list. If this person uses your coupon code at checkout, you DO receive your Bounty payment amount in lieu of your affiliate payment amount.

Examples:

Affiliate Sue sends an email to her list to the Yoga Teacher Training page opt-in. All of these opt-ins are tracked and tagged. Student Molly ends up purchasing Yoga Teacher Training, but Molly has been on the Uplifted Yoga Inc.’s mailing list previously. AKA she is not a “new” lead.  No affiliate payment or bounty is issued.

Affiliate Sue sends an email to her list to the Yoga Teacher Training page opt-in. All of these opt-ins are tracked and tagged. Student Molly ends up purchasing Yoga Teacher Training and Molly using your coupon code at check-out (proving YOU were the one that spurred her into taking action and signing up). While she is not a new lead, you triggered her to take action and clearly followed up with her, perhaps also answering questions, and she used your coupon code. No affiliate payment is issued but your bounty IS issued.

Affiliate Sue sends an email to her list to the Yoga Teacher Training page opt-in. All of these opt-ins are tracked and tagged. Student Molly ends up purchasing Yoga Teacher Training and is brand new to the Uplifted Yoga Inc email list. She is a “new” lead. Someone who was not previously in our community. In this scenario, your full affiliate payment is issued. No bounty is issued.

As demonstrated by the examples above, the best way to succeed as an affiliate is to send people to the Yoga Teacher Training page opt-in (so they are tracked AND tagged in our email backend) AND then later to also follow up with your coupon code.  

The best places to promote are OUTSIDE Uplifted Yoga Inc’s groups — to your own list, friends, colleagues or in other appropriate Facebook Groups you own or are a part of.

 

When Payments Are Made

Payment are issued once your student has paid for the training in full. Keep in mind, registering for their deposit simply holds their spot and does not mean they will pay in full.

If they sign up for a payment plan, they might not be paid in full until THE END of the training. In some rare cases, they may not be paid in full until a few weeks AFTER the training if we worked with them to create a custom payment plan or invoice. We do whatever is needed to help students financially (and help you close sales). Please be patient. You’ll receive your payout when their tuition payment is 100% complete. If they pay in-full before training begins, you may receive your payout when the training is 50% complete (this is to insure they don’t drop out, have issues or request refunds).

If you referred student drops out of training or fails to complete their tuition payment, no payments are issued.
